How to use?

• Placement: place the reusable menstrual pad over your underwear and press the clips underneath so it doesn't move.
• After use: after use, simply fold the dressing and press the springs onto it. Once folded, place it in a waterproof bag or wash it straight away (see our washing tips below).

How should I wash the Reusable Menstrual Pads?

The easiest way to wash your Reusable Pads is in the washing machine. Immediately after use, rinse the dressing or leave it to soak in cold water to avoid stains. Then it can be placed in the washing machine, washing at 40 - 60ºC.

You should not use bleach, softeners or additional chemicals that could affect the absorbency of the fabric.

If you want, you can also wash them by hand, taking into account my care.

How do I choose the right size for me?

If you have a very light flow or just need a backup while using the Lunette Menstrual Cup, you can use the smaller size. If you have a heavy flow, you can opt for the larger Reusable Pads.

How many Reusable Pads do I need?

That depends on your flow and if you are using only the Reusable Pads or if you use them in conjunction with the Menstrual Cup. We recommend having a variety that can cover your entire cycle: 2-4 light, 6-12 moderate and 1-3 heavy.

Will I smell any odor?

The first thing to be aware of is that you should change the Reusable Dressing with some frequency. When menstrual flow comes in contact with air, it is not uncommon for it to have an odor. However, Reusable Pads are more breathable than disposable pads, and can prevent odors from occurring.

Attention: if you detect a strong odor, you should speak to a healthcare professional, as it could be a pH imbalance or a possible infection.

What is the lifespan of Reusable Pads?

Lunette Reusable Dressings can last around 4-5 years, or even longer! Factors such as washing and the number of times the dressing has been used determine how long it can last.
