Payment Methods
The Pegada Verde it also facilitates the payment of your order through the ATM network.
Through this form of payment you can conveniently pay for your orders through the option Payment of Services. To do so, just go to a ATM, or homebanking, or even a cellphone, and follow the instructions we sent you by email when ordering. Processing of your order starts immediately after your payment order and no proof of payment is required. We remind you that there is a period of two days since the order is placed to make the payment by ATM. Once this deadline is reached, your order will go to Canceled status, however you can reactivate it.
The Pegada Verde accept payment by Visa and MasterCard. For security reasons, when paying by credit or debit card, the order will go through an authorization process. When authorized (normally, on the same day) the Pegada Verde will start processing your order.
You can pay quickly and securely with your PayPal account or with debit/credit card, without having to share any financial information with Pegada Verde. PayPal uses the latest data encryption and anti-fraud technology to help maintain your information secure, reducing the risk of online fraud.
Warning: The payment method cannot be modified once the order has been placed to Pegada Verde. If you want to choose another form of payment, cancel your order and make a new one. Remember that when canceling orders paid by credit card, the card issuer may take up to 3 days to cancel the payment authorization. The Pegada Verde reserves the right to cancel the transaction for security reasons if an anomaly is detected or fraud is suspected.
Shipping and delivery
Once the order has been shipped, you will receive an email with the tracking number and a web link with which you can check the status of the shipment.
Warning: If you did not receive the message, check that the email address that appears on your order is correct and if the message was not sent to the spam folder.
The order will be delivered via carrier to the address provided when placing the order. When you receive your order, we advise to check that everything is in perfect condition. If you do not agree with the received products or the state of them, contact immediatly Pegada Verde through [email protected] informing the problems detected.
If you are not at the address when the delivery arrives, our carriers usually have a phone number to contact you and agree on a new delivery date. They also usually leave a notification in the Mailbox, saying that a delivery was attempted.
The Pegada Verde works for you to receive your order as quickly as possible.
Once delivered to the carrier, you will receive a warning message by email, with the expected delivery date.
The period between the payment of the order and the date of the first delivery attempt oscillates between 24 and 72 hours in work days (from Monday to Friday), depending on the destination and the time the order was placed. When entering the address, check that it is correct since the Pegada Verde will not be responsible for the delay in delivery to an incorrect address and additional costs to the initial price will be borne by the customer.
In the case of standard shipping, delivery may take between 2 to 5 business days. Orders paid on working days before 3pm will be processed on that same day. If payment is made after 3 pm, will be processed on the next business day.
Warning: In the case of the Azores and Madeira you can only apply the Standard Shipping option, with delivery time of 5 to 10 working days. To Mainland Portugal, shipping is done via carrier. Shipments to Azores and Madeira are made from CTT, in Registered Mail option, and may experience delays unrelated to the Pegada Verde, depending on the current delivery situation.
FAQ
Check that the email address that appears on the order is correct and that the message was not sent to the junk mail folder. You can modify the email address at which you receive notifications, making that same request through [email protected]
Our carriers usually have a phone number so I can contact you and arrange a new delivery date. However, if you are unable to locate it, contact us informing.
It is possible that the carrier has trouble finding your address or who tried to deliver when there was no one at the place. If you have a problem with delivery, contact us se we can inform you properly.
It should be taken into account that, if two (2) delivery attempts by the carrier, from the third (3º) attempted delivery will be charged the additional amount of 2.95€ (standard shipping value) - in these situations, free shipping discount will no longer be applied, if the order value is greater than 29€. This additional cost will not be charged if the delivery attempts are found to have resulted in a failure by the carrier (ex: the carrier does not provide proof of presence at the address).
If you have not yet received the shipping notice, you can change the delivery address of the order. To do this, you should contact Pegada Verde by phone or email. Remember that you can modify the shipping address, if the order is already on the way,
however this change has the cost of a new shipment in the amount of 2.95€ (in these situations, the free shipping discount will no longer be applied, if the order value is greater than 29€). This change is only valid for mainland Portugal.
My order
Once the order has been shipped, you will receive an email with the tracking number and a web connection with which you can check/track the status of the shipment.
If you have not yet received the shipping notice, you can contact Pegada Verde and request a change of address. Changing the address when the order is already on the way is possible, but you will have the additional cost of a new shipment (2,95€), free shipping discount not being applied.
